Payroll Executive (LLM Required) - Hyderabad

We are seeking a meticulous and legally astute Payroll Executive with 2-4 years of experience and a strong understanding of legal frameworks relevant to payroll processing, ideally gained through an LLM degree. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations for our employees in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll cycle, liaising with legal and HR teams, and ensuring adherence to all labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire payroll process for a significant employee base, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries, wages, and benefits.
• Interpret and apply complex labor laws, tax regulations (including TDS), and statutory compliance requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.) to payroll processing.
• Leverage your LLM knowledge to provide legal insights on payroll-related matters, including contract interpretations, employee grievances, and compliance audits.
• Liaise with legal counsel and HR business partners to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure legal adherence.
• Prepare and submit various payroll reports, statutory filings, and tax declarations to relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure data integrity in the payroll system.
• Stay updated on changes in labor laws and payroll regulations in India and implement necessary adjustments.
• Assist in the development and refinement of payroll policies and procedures.
