Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (cleared) to join a federal subcontractor supporting. This is a full-time position and offers 2 remote days per week out of Ft Meade, MD.

Essential Duties of the Sr Cloud Engineer:

• Support initiatives in developing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
• Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and tools.
• Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for Cloud and DevSecOps initiatives.
• Ensure all deliverables meet user acceptance criteria while adhering to security best practices.

Qualifications of the Sr Cloud Engineer:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering including DevOps or DevSecOps.
• 3+ years of IaC experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Azure DevOps.
• Good Kubernetes experience and writing it on your own.
• Desire to work in a collaborative environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Compensation for the Sr Cloud Engineer:

• $150,000 - $180,000 (based on experience)
