Job Description

Job Summary POSITION SUMMARY The Administrative Clerk is responsible for scheduling and requesting necessary continuances of preliminary hearings, as well as requesting stenos when needed. They are responsible for pulling the preliminary hearing files for the week as well as checking to make sure the preliminary hearing schedule is up to date and there have been no changes. They are responsible for making copies and distributing daily schedules to those that need it.

The Administrative

Clerk will be responsible for making new files for hearings that are at the preliminary hearing stage as well as any other duties listed below.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process all documents related to Preliminary Hearings and communicate with Magisterial District Justice offices
  • Process and file all documents related to Arraignments
  • Creating, entering, and scanning cases into Spartan at all levels of court
  • Other duties as assigned by Office Manager.

Requirements are representative of minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the ability or aptitude to perform each duty proficiently, and comply with County policies and procedures, as outlined in the County Employee Handbook.
