Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ASM/TSM position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with responsibilities that may span PAN India markets. The role involves managing and expanding relationships with channel partners, distributors, and retailers, including regular market visits, partner meetings, and business reviews. The ASM/TSM will drive sales targets, oversee territory planning, execute go-to-market strategies, and ensure effective product placement and visibility. Daily tasks include monitoring sales performance, tracking key metrics, collecting market intelligence, and coordinating with internal teams for pricing, promotions, and product support. The role also includes training and onboarding new partners, resolving escalations, supporting collection and compliance processes, and preparing periodic reports and forecasts for management.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development abilities, including territory management, target achievement, and channel expansion.
• Experience in managing channel partners, distributors, and retailers, with skills in relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports and forecasts, and leverage market insights for strategic decision-making.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in presenting solutions and handling objections.
• Comfort with technology and software products; prior experience in SaaS, fintech, or retail software solutions is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work independently in the field, prioritize tasks, and manage time across multiple territories or accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across assigned regions, including PAN India, as business needs require.
