Job Description
Role: SQL/SSIS/SSRS Specialist
Location: Remote, Canada
Contract
SQL, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL-
Experience Required:
- 8–10 years of total IT experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SQL Server development
- Strong experience in SSIS (ETL design, development, and deployment)
- Strong experience in handling production support (L2/L3) environments
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Indexing
- Database performance tuning using Execution Plans and SQL Profiler
- Designing and implementing SSIS packages for data integration and file automation
- Experience with inbound/outbound file processing and automation workflows
- Exposure to Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines
- Experience in SSRS / Power BI reporting
- Database maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Experience working in Agile methodology
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and design robust database solutions
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and database objects
- Design, deploy, and support SSIS packages
- Perform query optimization and database performance tuning
- Handle critical production issues with quick turnaround time
- Conduct code reviews and ensure delivery quality
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
