Role Description

This is a part-time volunteer, hybrid (mostly in-person) role for an Event Coordinator based in Waterloo, ON, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning and organizing events, managing logistics, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities also include promoting events, engaging with attendees, and ensuring smooth execution. The role will involve fostering relationships with stakeholders, managing on-site event operations, and gathering post-event feedback to improve future initiatives.

Qualifications

• Event Planning and Event Management skills
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
• Basic understanding of Sales and promotional strategies
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Passion for sustainability and an understanding of circular fashion principles is an asset
• Experience coordinating campus or community events is a plus
