As a SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager at Yext, you will play a crucial role in the dynamic accounting team of a fast-paced organization. Your primary responsibility will be to provide quarterly and annual financial reporting for the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile quarterly and annual financial reporting SEC filings and related releases (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-Ks), including drafting financial statements, notes, and MD&A disclosures.
• Own supporting workpaper documentation, tie out process, PBC lists, and GAAP checklists.
• Project manage schedules of requests across internal/external teams.
• Research and draft technical position memos on complex accounting topics for new transactions.
• Drive process improvement projects to enhance reporting processes, systems, and internal controls.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams including revenue, legal, audit, and investor relations.
• Stay updated with SEC regulations, evaluate their impact, and design/implement new processes as needed.
• Review external communications for accuracy and support management in special projects and ad-hoc technical accounting requests.
• Assist in updating and maintaining internal policy documentation.

Qualifications Required:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience with Big 4 and SEC registrant experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls.
• Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and understanding of various filings.
• Self-starter with commitment to process improvements and ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, dedication, and effective time-management abilities.
• Problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workplace.
• CA designation or equivalent.
