Associate React Native Developer TV Applications

As a Junior React Native Developer for TV Applications, you will work with the OTT engineering team to build and optimize applications for Android TV, and later Apple TV (tvOS). You will develop TV-specific screens, navigation flows, remote-friendly interactions, and optimized UIs for large displays. Key Responsibilities:

• Build React Native screens and components optimized for TV interfaces
• Implement DPAD/remote navigation flows for Android TV
• Convert Figma designs into remote-friendly, large-screen UIs
• Work with video playback components and custom video controls
• Integrate REST API calls using Axios or shared API SDK
• Handle TV-specific UI/UX patterns (focus states, highlight states)
• Debug layout and navigation issues across Android TV devices
• Collaborate with designers to adapt mobile UI TV UI
• Follow coding guidelines, maintain component consistency, and write clean code
• Participate in QA cycles to verify UI/UX behavior on actual TV devices

Qualifications Required:

• Good understanding of React Native fundamentals
• Experience building UI screens in React Native
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
• Basic understanding of TypeScript
• Good grasp of layout systems (Flexbox) for large screens
• Ability to convert Figma React Native UI
• Understanding of remote-based navigation or strong willingness to learn
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows
