About the Role
We are seeking a charismatic, highly creative, and socially connected Content Manager / Digital Brand Ambassador to join our cross Canada touring team. This role is embedded directly within the tour, traveling alongside the Tour Manager, bringing the energy, personality, and story of the experience to life across digital platforms in real time.
As the on-the-ground content lead, this individual will play a critical role in translating live moments into compelling digital narratives, capturing everything from high-impact performances to intimate behind-the-scenes interactions. You will act as the connective tissue between the tour, the artists, brand partners, and the in-office social team. Ensuring that content is not only visually engaging but also strategically aligned with broader campaign goals.
This role requires a unique blend of creative instinct, production capability, and operational coordination. You will be responsible for executing a structured content calendar while also identifying and capitalizing on spontaneous, culturally relevant moments as they happen. Success in this role means consistently delivering high-quality, platform-native content that drives engagement, fulfills partner commitments, and strengthens the overall brand presence at every tour stop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photo and video content at each tour stop, including performances, crowd moments, and behind-the-scenes footage
- Partner closely with the in-office social team to execute a predefined content calendar across all tour dates
- Capture and publish real-time content during live events (mainly Instagram Stories and re-posts), identifying and sharing culturally relevant or trending moments as they happen.
- Work directly with artists and talent for each tour stop to ensure all social deliverables are fulfilled (e.g., posts, stories, tags, brand mentions)
- Coordinate with venues, partners, and local stakeholders to execute co-branded content opportunities
- Conduct on-site/virtual training and ongoing performance development for staff
- Fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors
- Support setup, teardown, and troubleshooting of activation spaces, displays, and sampling stations
- Ensure compliance with all program guidelines, brand standards, and safety protocols
- Submit timely and accurate program reports, including performance feedback and analytics
- Attend and facilitate internal and external status meetings and calls as appropriate
Ideal Candidate:
- Creative storyteller with a strong eye for detail and brand alignment
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting, including the ability to extract platform data, identify performance trends, and communicate insights clearly to internal and external teams (on platforms such as Meta Business Suite and TikTok Studio).
- Confident, approachable, and able to lead multiple teams across regions
- Strong skills in photo/video capture and mobile editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, etc.)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative team player who thrives in both independent and team settings
- Highly reliable, organized, and results-oriented
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and market-specific challenges
Education and Experience:
- Digital Marketing or Marketing diploma/degree considered an asset
- 2+ years' experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, and/or touring environments
- 2+ years’ experience in a leadership or team management role
- Experience in experiential marketing, event operations, and customer service
