As a Senior Water Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping resilient water infrastructure that supports sustainable communities. You will lead technical design, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to complex projects that protect water resources and enhance quality of life across Canada.
Your Impact
- Lead the planning, detailed design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Apply advanced hydraulic and engineering principles to develop innovative, constructible solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality assurance for junior engineers and designers.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Support proposal development and contribute to business growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil , Environmental, or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration in Canada.
- Significant experience in water and wastewater system design within a consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling, design software, and applicable design standards.
- Proven ability to lead technical tasks and coordinate across disciplines
- Experience working with municipal clients and regulatory agencies.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous professional development.

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $114,600 – $151,800
MB & ON: $104,500 – $143,900
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $103,500 – $137,400
