Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Senior Project Planner with Worley, you will work closely with the existing team to deliver projects for clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience. Your responsibilities will include developing the Level III Construction Programme, preparing the WBS for construction, reviewing tender/contract documents, collaborating with lead discipline engineers, and reporting overall progress of construction periodically to the Customer. You will also monitor work front status, progress of works, prepare slide packs for progress review meetings, and assist in monitoring the internal budget for Construction Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the Level III Construction Programme and make modifications as appropriate
- Develop Level IV schedule for critical areas/critical phase of construction
- Prepare the WBS for construction and S curves for progress monitoring
- Finalize progress reporting formats with the Customer
- Review tender/contract documents for construction planning requirements
- Collaborate with lead discipline engineers to review construction programme and resource deployment schedule
- Furnish comments on the submission from contractors
- Align with contractors for progress reporting formats and frequency
- Monitor work front status and availability of Free Issue Materials
- Prepare slide packs for progress review meetings
- Assist in monitoring the internal budget for Construction Management
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate in Engineering/Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline
- Minimum 13-17 years of experience for Graduate Engineers/16-20 years of experience for Diploma Engineers
- Experience in Oil & Gas Sector and Chemicals
- Knowledge of construction activities, resource requirements, and progress monitoring methods
- Proficient in MS Office and Primavera
- Team player with interpersonal skills
- Adaptable, open to learning and development, person of integrity with good communication skills
