Job Description
As a web developer on the ShareGate marketing team, you're the technical engine that turns ambitious ideas into reality. You own the technical layer: you build what Webflow can't do on its own, you make sure integrations hold up, and you keep our analytics tracking reliable so we can make the best decisions.
You're the one we call when things get technically complex, when a campaign needs a microsite that truly stands out, or when the team needs to move faster without sacrificing quality.
Responsibilities:
- Implement pages, components, and landing pages in Webflow, including custom code when the platform hits its limits.
- Build, maintain, and improve integrations with our third-party tools (Intercom, Spara, MCP, and others).
- Own analytics implementation end to end: event tracking setup, data integrity validation, and making sure the team's decisions are backed by reliable data (GTM, GA4, etc.).
- Develop technically ambitious web experiences for 360 campaigns: microsites, interactive features, rich animations.
- Review, fix, and improve the team's vibe-coded implementations.
- Join initiative kickoffs to identify technical blockers early and propose solutions.
- Document site structure, integrations, and technical decisions over time.
What does your future team look like?
The ShareGate marketing team is made up of several specialized teams: customer marketing, growth, content, events, GTM engineering, brand, and web. This role is part of the Identity & Web team, a tight-knit, multidisciplinary group of 6 senior people responsible for ShareGate's brand and website: a brand marketing manager, a marketing designer, a web designer, a copywriter, and now you. We move fast, we care about quality, and we work closely together to make ShareGate's website and our campaigns two of our strongest growth levers.
What are the next challenges awaiting your team?
- The first is being the technical arm behind a significant evolution of the site. As ShareGate evolves its positioning, the site needs to keep up through new pages, new experiences, and a culture of continuous experimentation. This is high-visibility, high-impact work.
- The second is improving conversion performance through smarter on-site experiences, optimizing how visitors engage, reducing friction in key flows, and making sure every touchpoint is properly instrumented so we can learn and iterate.
- The third is being the technical backbone of our marketing campaigns: microsites, interactive experiences, and web executions designed to stand out and convert.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant web development experience or equivalent;
- Strong experience with Webflow;
- Solid front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
- Hands-on experience with analytics implementation (GTM, GA4, or similar);
- Comfortable with APIs and third-party integrations;
- Able to write and maintain custom code from scratch when needed;
- Autonomous, fast, and highly collaborative;
- A solution-oriented mindset: you ask the right questions and move forward.
Nice to have
- Experience with animation libraries (GSAP, etc.);
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation workflows;
- React or a similar JavaScript framework.
Salary range: $95K–118K CAD.
This range reflects our Canada-wide compensation scale. Final offers may be adjusted based on the candidate’s region to align with local market conditions.
