In this temporary role, you'll work with the Pharmacy Services department for up to 12 months. Responsibilities include interpreting medication orders, managing patient records, and ensuring safety in drug distribution. Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and process patient-specific medication orders
- Monitor patient profiles for allergies and interactions
- Obtain and document medication histories accurately
- Replenish stock and perform unit dose distribution
- Provide mentorship to pharmacy students
Requirements
- Completion of recognized Pharmacy Technician program
- Current Ontario College of Pharmacists registration
- Previous healthcare experience, preferably in hospitals
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
