HCC Medical Coder

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented HCC Coders with 0–2 years of experience or certified freshers. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate diagnosis codes using HCC coding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM codes
• Identify and capture Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) accurately
• Ensure coding compliance with CMS guidelines
• Maintain accuracy and productivity standards
• Work on risk adjustment coding and documentation review
• Follow client-specific coding guidelines and SOPs
• Collaborate with QA team for quality improvement

Eligibility Criteria

• Any Life Science / Pharmacy / Medical Graduate (B.Sc, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Nursing, etc.)
• Certified coders preferred (CPC / CRC certification is a plus)
• Freshers with certification can apply

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology & anatomy
• Understanding of ICD-10-CM coding
• Good analytical and comprehension skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, tools)

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to HCC / Risk Adjustment Coding
• Knowledge of tools like CIOX, Athena, EPIC

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
