Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Home Remodeler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert carpentry and remodeling techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship on every project. Your hands-on expertise will help clients realize their vision, whether it’s renovating a single room or undertaking comprehensive home improvements. Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise carpentry work.
• Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding projects with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and installing various materials
• Install fixtures, flooring, tile, stucco, drywall (plastering), and water damage restoration components to enhance structural integrity and aesthetics.
• Engage in restoration projects including mold remediation, water damage repair, and general building refurbishment within the restoration industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe construction site by adhering to safety protocols and managing heavy lifting tasks efficiently.

Skill

• Proficiency in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall installation (plastering), and fixture installation.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, , and fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with masonry work, tile laying, flooring installation, and electrical experience.
• Ability to perform plumbing tasks, electrical work basics, caulking, caulking application techniques, heavy lifting safely, and water damage restoration procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements; handyman experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding client needs within the restoration industry context.
