JOB OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a Junior Marketer who understands that search is evolving beyond Google into
AI-driven platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity AI.
You will own WizCart organic growth—spanning SEO, content strategy, and AI search optimization
(AEO/GEO)—while supporting paid acquisition. This role is ideal for someone who wants to
master modern search in a fast-paced startup.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years' experience or strong SEO/growth portfolio
- Strong SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page, content strategy)
- Hands-on experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
- Understanding of backlinks and outreach basics
- Awareness of AI search (AEO/GEO)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SEO & Content Strategy (Core Focus)
- Conduct keyword research using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Search Console
- Perform content gap analysis and build a content roadmap
- Optimize on-page SEO (titles, meta, headings, schema, internal linking)
- Structure content for both Google and AI readability (FAQs, direct answers, entity-rich
content)
2. Backlinks & Authority
- Audit and improve backlink profile; remove toxic links
- Execute outreach for guest posts, PR, and link placements
- Build an LLM-aware backlink strategy targeting both traditional and AI-cited domains
3. AI Search Optimization (AEO & GEO)
- Optimize for featured snippets, “People Also Ask,” and voice search
- Create content AI engines can extract and cite
- Track visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, and Google SGE
- Develop authoritative, well-cited content
4. Analytics & Performance
- Monitor GA4, Search Console, and SEO tools

5. Paid Social (Secondary)
- Support campaigns via Meta Ads Manager
- Assist with creative and audience testing
