Job Description
Wizard Games Inc. is looking for a Senior Artist to define and elevate the visual identity of our games across a rapidly growing cross-platform ecosystem.
We’re a small, experienced team building games played by millions—especially on Connected TV platforms like Amazon Fire TV, Samsung TV, and LG TV. Now, we’re pushing to the next level: higher quality, stronger visual identity, and broader reach across mobile, console, desktop, and TV.
This role is a rare opportunity to own the visual bar for an entire studio.
The Opportunity
You won’t just be executing art—you’ll be defining what our games look and feel like.
- Establish a distinct, recognizable visual style for Wizard Games
- Lead the artistic direction of current and future titles
- Work directly with the founder/game director to shape game experiences
- Help elevate the entire team’s aesthetic sensibilities
Our first project together:
A cross-platform 3D-adventure-style merge game where players clean and transform spaces, interact with characters, complete missions and enjoy a comedic and heartfelt story.
We’re aiming for: Colorful, cozy, approachable—but polished and highly appealing
What You’ll Do
- Own the visual direction of our games from concept to final polish
- Create high-quality 2D illustrations, including:
- Character and environment concepts

- Build and render stylized 3D characters, environments and assets
- Define lighting, composition, color, and overall aesthetic quality
- Work hands-on in Unity to implement and refine visuals
- Collaborate closely with the game director (you’ll have real influence)
- Provide art direction and feedback to the broader team
Work Within Real Constraints
- Balance visual quality vs performance across platforms:
- Optimize for lower-end devices (Smart TVs / WebGL)
- Push fidelity on higher-end platforms (console, PC)
- Make smart use of:
- Existing assets (Unity Asset Store, etc.)
- Procedural or AI-assisted workflows
- Efficient pipelines and reuse strategies
We value artists who are resourceful, pragmatic, and outcome-driven

- Excellent aesthetic judgment and taste (this is critical)
- Experience working in Unity
- Ability to take ownership and define visual direction, not just execute
- Strong understanding of art optimization for game performance.
- Proven industry experience in games (or equivalent level of work)
- A scrappy, problem-solving mindset—able to create great results within time and resource constraints
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience shipping games across multiple platforms
- Familiarity with performance constraints (mobile, WebGL, or low-spec hardware)
- Experience with stylized/cozy/casual art directions
- Shader, lighting, or rendering experience in Unity (URP, etc.)
- Experience incorporating or adapting third-party or AI-generated assets into a cohesive style
How You’ll Fit In
- Work directly with the Founder / Game Director
- Be the person the team looks to for visual quality and direction
