We are seeking a highly skilled Database (SQL Server) Lead to join our dynamic team at Wipro Technologies within the TS - Data Analytics & AI division. This role involves designing, testing, and maintaining robust software programs tailored for client deployment, ensuring these solutions comply with stringent quality assurance standards and deliver high performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable database schemas, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Create, maintain, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support various application requirements.
- Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to design effective data access and integration strategies.
- Review and improve existing database designs with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
- Manage database lifecycle including versioning, deployment, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and technical teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and Wipros quality assurance protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance database operations and automation.
Qualification Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server including database design, query optimization, and administration.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a Technical Lead role, demonstrating leadership in delivering complex data solutions.
- Expert proficiency in designing and maintaining database schemas, including tables, indexes, views, and constraints to support diverse application needs.
- Strong ability to evaluate and enhance database designs to optimize performance, scalability, and security across environments.
- Advanced skills in writing and reviewing complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and functions ensuring maintainability and efficiency.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary application teams through effective data access and integration strategies.
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools, backup and recovery methods, and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
