Job Description

As our part-time mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles used in our wine tours. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a relaxed, yet professional environment and is looking to apply their skills in a less demanding, casual setting. The work can be done on your schedule and this would be the perfect job for someone looking to pick up some extra work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance checks and services on the fleet.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues as they arise.
• Ensure all vehicles are in peak operating condition.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Advise on potential upgrades or modifications for better performance.
• Work closely with the fleet manager to prioritize tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic.
• Knowledge of different types of vehicles and their mechanics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Retired mechanics seeking a casual work environment are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Heavy Duty Vehicle: 2 years (required)
