Job Summary
Mediprobe Research Inc. is a dermatology center dedicated to advancing research and publishing findings in areas like autoimmune skin diseases, hair loss, and fungal infections. We are looking for a Research Associate/Research Writer (Publication) to join our London, ON research team. This role involves developing and preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Successful candidates will have a strong command of the English language, along with a proven track record of writing and publishing in scientific journals. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to work on-site.
Duties
- Conduct scoping and systematic literature reviews to support ongoing research projects.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new research methodologies.
- Extract data and synthesize evidence from research studies.
- Analyze data using appropriate statistical methods.
- Create graphical illustrations/figures.
- Prepare, submit, revise, and proof manuscripts for publication.
Experience
- An advanced degree (MSc, PhD) in medical or life sciences.
- Proven experience in authoring and publishing scientific articles.
- Familiarity with academic literature searches using online databases (e.g., PubMed).
- Familiarity with systematic literature review standards (e.g., PRISMA).
- Knowledge of basic statistics and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
Job Types: Casual, Freelance
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
