Wild Rose School Division requires a A PART TIME TEACHER for the 2026-27 school year For Evergreen Elementary School in Drayton Valley, Alberta

Applications are invited for a Probationary Part Time Pre-K Teacher.

Evergreen Elementary is seeking a dedicated and engaged teacher to cover a leave for the 2026-2027 school year. Experience teaching young children, trauma response and understanding of elementary curriculum would be beneficial. We are a PAX school working on positive behavior supports.

The position will start on August 24, 2026 and is expected to continue for the balance of the school year. The part time working schedule is full days Mondays and Wednesdays and some Fridays.

Evergreen Elementary is a Pre-K - Grade 4 school located in Drayton Valley, with close proximity to

Discovery Park and the bus hub. We have around 200 students, including Pre-K and Kindergarten. Our building is designed for opportunities for flexible learning including teacher collaboration, team-teaching and flexible learning spaces.

We also have a sensory room/student wellness room and a room for staff wellness. We are striving to be a LEED silver level school, with reduced environmental impacts. Our school focuses on positive behaviors with the PAX program.

Students have a daily free breakfast, access to free healthy lunches and a paid hot lunch program.
