Responsibilities
- Assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
- Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by collaborating with team members.
Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates who are already registered apprentices or have completed the pre-apprenticeship program.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic electrical knowledge or coursework preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is an asset.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints is advantageous.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in the electrical field.
- Good communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus.
