Job Description

Our client, a dynamic leader in the technology solutions sector, is actively seeking a driven and experienced Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their thriving sales team in Brampton, Ontario . This is an on-site position where you will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities.

As a Senior SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective customers, initiating conversations, and building rapport to generate high-quality leads for the Account Executive team. You will utilize a combination of outbound prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling, to engage with key decision-makers. Your success will directly contribute to the company's revenue growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and research potential clients through various prospecting methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media engagement. Initiate contact with key decision-makers to understand their business needs and challenges. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services and qualify leads based on established criteria. Schedule introductory meetings and product demonstrations for the Account Executive team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce). Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for qualified leads and appointments set. Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to refine lead generation strategies and messaging. Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Mentor and support junior SDRs, sharing best practices and contributing to team success. Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through ongoing training and self-study.

Qualifications

Proven experience (3+ years) as a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, or in a similar B2B sales role. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools. Strong cold calling and objection-handling abilities. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and possesses a tenacious work ethic. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced sales environment. Familiarity with technology solutions or SaaS products is a strong asset. High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
