Construction Supervisor - Concrete Restoration (High-Rise)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee high-rise concrete restoration projects. This role is hands-on and field-based, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage crews and coordinate with engineers, consultants, and residents in occupied buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations on high-rise restoration projects
• Lead crews performing:
• Concrete restoration
• Caulking and sealants
• Exterior painting and coatings
• Liquid-applied waterproofing membranes
• Plan and coordinate work schedules with Project Managers and Production Manager
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
• Operate, rig, and supervise work on swing stages
• Maintain compliance with WorkSafeBC and company safety standards
• Coordinate site access and logistics in occupied buildings
• Communicate effectively with residents, property managers, and clients
• Work closely with engineers and consultants to facilitate inspections and reviews
• Track progress, identify issues, and proactively resolve challenges
• Ensure quality control and proper documentation of work completed

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising concrete restoration projects (high-rise preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Concrete repair methods
• Sealants/caulking systems
• Coatings and painting
• Liquid waterproofing systems (PMMA, traffic coatings, etc.)
• Extensive experience with swing stage operation, rigging, and safety procedures
• Solid understanding of WorkSafeBC regulations and fall protection systems
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and engineering details
• Experience working with consultants/engineers on site reviews
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in occupied residential environments
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
