Junior UI/UX Developer

As a UI/UX Designer, your role will involve the following responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of modern HTML5, CSS (including preprocessors, Tailwind, and utility-first design), JavaScript (ES6+), and integration of jQuery where necessary
• Expertise in UI frameworks like Bootstrap (proficiency in v3, strong understanding of v4 & v5) and ability to adapt to evolving component libraries
• Deep knowledge of CSS pseudo selectors, responsive layouts (Flexbox, CSS Grid), media queries, and accessibility-first designs
• Hands-on experience with jQuery plugins/libraries for dynamic UI interactions, with awareness of lightweight JS alternatives
• Familiarity with user behavior analytics to inform UI/UX decisions
• Ability to interpret product specifications and user psychology to design user-centered experiences
• Proficiency in creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Ability to craft storyboards, moodboards, user flows, and journey maps to communicate design intent
• Strong creative mindset with a balance between aesthetic design and functional usability
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, product owners, and stakeholders
• Strong troubleshooting skills for UI/UX issues across browsers, platforms, and devices

Must-Have Skills:

• Applied knowledge of UX principles shown through end-to-end project experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, and Bootstrap frameworks for rapid prototyping
• Solid experience in wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing using tools like Figma
• Ability to apply analytical and logical reasoning to user problems and design decisions
• Creativity in delivering intuitive, aesthetically pleasing user experiences
• Commitment to continuous improvement, user empathy, and accessibility standards
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills to effectively communicate design rationale

Good to Have Skills:

• Basic knowledge of programming concepts to collaborate effectively with developers
• Exposure to design systems, design tokens, and component libraries
• Familiarity with AI-driven UX tools
• Awareness of modern UX research practices such as A/B testing, customer journey analytics, and behavioral insights
