Job Description
The Deputy Manager for the Category Department will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing merchandising operations within the domestic B2B market. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical understanding of processes and products, as well as a deep knowledge of domestic trade. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless order processing and enhancing sales effectiveness. They will leverage their expertise in SAP and other IT applications to streamline operations and drive efficiency. Building and maintaining robust relationships with vendors and suppliers is crucial, as is the ability to negotiate and influence effectively to secure advantageous deals. The role demands a proactive approach to market and competitive intelligence, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
