Job Purpose
Welldoc is looking for a Content Marketing Manager and copywriter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are a 'doer' who can switch gears instantly, from drafting a B2B white paper to writing high-conversion email sequences and social campaigns. This role is perfect for a growth-minded writer who loves to experiment with different voices and understands how to move audiences through a marketing funnel.
As a Welldoc Content Marketing Manager, you will bring your hands-on approach and natural storytelling ability to create impactful sales enablement tools, lead-generation assets, and campaigns across various mediums for both B2B and B2C audiences. Working closely with our marketing and design teams, you will ensure that all copy drives engagement and adheres to our brand voice and style guide, conveying a persuasive message to target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the execution of a high-volume content calendar, creating targeted assets that span the customer journey, including lead-gen emails, blog posts, sales collateral, in-app messages, social media, and more.
- Develop and refine brand messaging to ensure quality, accuracy and a consistent tone of voice across B2B and B2C audiences while adhering to industry standards, core claims and compliance requirements.
- Partner with creative and product teams to translate complex health concepts into cohesive, persuasive stories that drive user engagement and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to distill clinical technical clinical information into clear, benefit-driven copy for various audiences
- Monitor industry trends and competitor messaging to provide creative foresight and ensure Welldoc’s content remains differentiated and impactful in the market.
Required Skills & Experience
- Note: Candidates without experience in health/healthcare will not be considered.
- 3-5+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting and copyediting in the healthcare and health tech industries, to support B2C and B2B audiences
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy for a variety of audiences
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent brand voice while navigating the constraints of a regulated medical device environment
- Strong understanding of the principles of effective copywriting, including story flow, tone, style, and readability
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work from long-form thought leadership to short-form UX/Digital copy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working alongside clinical teams and ability to translate complex clinical information into simplified consumer language
- Experience and proficiency working with AI-based writing tools
- Have a keen understanding of core marketing channels
- Experience with UX writing; SEO and GEO are a plus
- Start-up experience is a plus
- Agency background is preferred
Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits
Welldoc offers a competitive compensation package which, in addition to salary, includes generous PTO, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision care, life and disability insurance, retirement benefits. and the opportunity to participate in health savings accounts and/or dependent care accounts. The anticipated salary range for this position is 80-110K/year with the expectation that most candidates will fall around the midpoint of the range. Candidates who exceed the required and preferred qualifications may be considered for an annual salary in excess of the budgeted range.
Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, you may be required to complete and clear a multi-panel drug screening process. This screening is in connection with requirements set by certain of the Company’s customers, with which you may be working in this role, and will at all times be administered all applicable laws.
