Job Summary
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day aspects of listing and processing resale items through all current systems and third-party avenues. The Inventory Manager will provide support and direction around all current and future resale options, SOP builds, as well as act as the main point of contact when deciding what inventory to return to any of our distribution locations.
This role will need to bring direction and focus to the continued development of the Reverse Logistics team by identifying and pursuing potential improvements while maintaining a high level of communication with the Returns ops teams.
Remote Work Qualifications
- Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
- Access to a home router and modem.
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
- A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
- The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.

Responsibilities
Traction of current inventory across Ops
- Develop cycle count and capacity traction and data that the team can utilize for better traction
- Collaborate with ops leadership to ensure price reduction based on space needs
Claims accountability and POC
- Ensure logs are up to date and any long-hold full salvage items are escalated
- Work with Claims to continue improving the process
- Identify and communicate any trends with the Content team
Recovery Sales
- Own and develop current and future sales platforms to ensure the highest return
- Conduct sales platform research to determine best practices
- Pursue and negotiate new sales opportunities through third-party avenues
Oversee the Resale team to ensure accountability
- Ensure logging data collection continues the growth of the resale team and opportunities

Oversee current studio management relationships
- Continued development around how we grow with the studio’s future expansions
Own liquidation request from buyer network
- Main POC for buyers to request the liquidation of dead stock
- Track locations that have the inventory and establish clear lines of communication with buyer and ops teams

Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
Two years of leadership experience preferred
Two years of sales-focused experience required
Education
