Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer who has 2-4 years of experience, to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves deploying and maintaining cloud services, automating infrastructure, optimizing system performance, and ensuring security and reliability across cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with DevOps teams, developers, and IT professionals to support cloud-based applications and streamline deployment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability across cloud environments.
• Implement IAM policies and security best practices across GCP services.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security principles.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Exposure to DevOps automation and cloud-native architectures.
