Manager - Not for Profit Tax

Position Profile

Weaver is looking for talented tax managers to join our growing firm! We serve a variety of tax-exempt and non-profit clients in multiple industries, from healthcare and education to community outreach, as well as many others. Our clients range from large, national-level organizations to smaller local entities and everything in between.

A tax manager works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in team development and firm administration activities, including training and mentoring less-experienced team members. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 5+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting at a public accounting firm.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA with 5+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm with a focus on tax-exempt and non-profit entities, including Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, and 990-T

Additionally, The Following Qualifications Are Preferred

• Master’s degree in accounting or related field
• Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
• Strong relationship management and practice development skills
• Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
