Position Title: Seasonal Gardener

Location: Watchung, New Jersey

Schedule: Part-Time, Seasonal (April – October), ~20 hours per week

Compensation: Hourly Rate of $20.00

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Seasonal Gardener to join our Clubhouse team from April through October. This individual will support the planting, care, and maintenance of our Clubhouse surrounding areas, Course and Racquets areas, helping to ensure our property reflects the natural beauty.

Key Responsibilities:

• ·Assist with planting, watering, weeding, pruning, mulching, and general upkeep of gardens, planter boxes and landscaped areas.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and ornamental plants around the clubhouse and golf course.
• Rakes and blows leaves.
• Monitor plant health and report any concerns.
• Operate basic gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Work collaboratively with other Clubhouse or Grounds staff to support seasonal projects.
• Empties garbage cans.
• Performs other appropriate tasks..

Qualifications

• Previous gardening, landscaping, or horticultural experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility with scheduling within the 20-hour workweek.
