Job Title: Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist
Location: Takoma Park, MD (In-House/Hybrid Position)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Travel: Regular travel to Washington Vascular Specialists and Capital Foot Care (CFC) locations throughout Maryland and Virginia for content creation, marketing initiatives, and special events.

Washington Vascular Specialists (WVS) is a leading outpatient vascular surgery practice dedicated to providing advanced, minimally invasive vascular care throughout Maryland and Virginia. Our sister company, Capital Foot Care (CFC), specializes in comprehensive podiatric care and operates multiple locations across the region.
We are seeking a creative, energetic, and highly organized Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to oversee the digital marketing and online presence of both organizations. This individual will play a key role in increasing brand awareness, patient engagement, physician recognition, recruitment, and community outreach across all practice locations.
This is a full-time in-house/hybrid position, with the expectation that the employee will primarily work from our corporate office while traveling to various WVS and CFC locations to create content and support marketing initiatives. Hybrid remote work may be available based on departmental needs and business demands.
Position Summary
The Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all digital marketing initiatives for Washington Vascular Specialists and Capital Foot Care. This includes overseeing all social media platforms, website management, content creation, digital advertising, physician branding, recruitment marketing, patient education campaigns, and online reputation management.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, self-motivated, organized, and passionate about healthcare marketing, photography, videography, branding, and storytelling.
Essential ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
· Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for Washington Vascular Specialists and Capital Foot Care.
· Manage all company social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, and emerging platforms.
· Create engaging daily, weekly, and monthly content calendars.
· Design and publish high-quality graphics, reels, videos, photography, and written content.
· Increase brand awareness and audience engagement through organic and paid campaigns.
· Monitor engagement, comments, direct messages, and online reviews while responding professionally and promptly.
· Track social media trends and recommend innovative marketing strategies.
Website Management
· Manage and maintain the Washington Vascular Specialists and Capital Foot Care websites.
· Ensure all website content is current, accurate, visually appealing, and optimized for user experience.
· Update provider biographies, services, office locations, announcements, employment opportunities, blogs, and patient education materials.
· Coordinate website redesigns, landing pages, and marketing campaigns as needed.
· Work with third-party website vendors and developers to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
· Monitor website analytics, SEO performance, and search rankings to improve visibility and patient acquisition.
Content Creation
· Photograph and film physicians, providers, staff, patient education events, community outreach initiatives, and company activities.
· Produce professional videos, educational content, physician interviews, patient testimonials (HIPAA compliant), and promotional campaigns.
· Create recruitment marketing content highlighting company culture and career opportunities.
· Design digital brochures, flyers, advertisements, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
· Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
Marketing & Brand Development
· Maintain consistent branding across all digital platforms and marketing materials.
· Collaborate with physicians, executive leadership, practice managers, and department leaders to promote new providers, services, procedures, and locations.
· Promote community events, health fairs, PAD awareness initiatives, vascular education programs, and company-sponsored events.
· Assist with employer branding, employee recognition programs, recruitment campaigns, and public relations initiatives.
· Coordinate marketing efforts for both Washington Vascular Specialists and Capital Foot Care.
Analytics & Performance
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all social media and website platforms.
· Generate monthly marketing reports detailing engagement, audience growth, website traffic, lead generation, and campaign performance.
· Recommend improvements based on data and industry trends.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in social media management, digital marketing, or healthcare marketing.
· Strong photography and videography skills.
· Experience editing professional videos and creating social media reels.
· Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Lightroom, CapCut, or similar creative software.
· Experience managing WordPress or other website content management systems.
· Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
· Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
· Excellent organizational and project management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
· Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between office locations.
