Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed or pre-licensed mental health clinician to join our team as an independent contractor. We welcome fully licensed clinicians as well as LGPCs, LMSWs, and Psychology Associates under supervision.

We are open to both virtual and in-person providers, though in-person availability is strongly preferred, especially for clinicians interested in working with children and adolescents.

EMDR-trained clinicians or those currently pursuing EMDR certification are strongly encouraged to apply.

What Your First 30–60 Days May Look Like

  • Smooth onboarding with support setting up your schedule and systems
  • Immediate referrals to begin building your caseload
  • Ongoing support from admin, supervisors, and leadership
  • Gradual ramp-up to your ideal caseload based on your availability

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual, family, and/or couples therapy
  • Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation using SimplePractice
  • Deliver inclusive, culturally responsive care to a diverse client population
  • Collaborate with a supportive and engaged clinical team
  • Option to build a niche and/or develop group offerings

Qualifications

  • Active Maryland license or permit (LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, LGPC, LMSW, or Psychology Associate)
  • For pre-licensed clinicians: ability to practice under appropriate supervision
  • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
  • EMDR training or certification preferred
  • Commitment to multicultural competency and inclusive care
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while also valuing collaboration
