Junior Machine Learning Specialist - Internship

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collect and preprocess data for training generative text models.

2. Design and implement a generative model for text data.

3. Train models efficiently and effectively, with a clear understanding of concepts like overfitting, underfitting, and the bias-variance tradeoff.

4. Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.

5. Use the trained model to generate text based on given prompts.

6. Document all stages of the model development process, from data preparation to model evaluation.

Other Requirements:

• 1. The candidate should be capable of using Python libraries such as NLTK or SpaCy for preprocessing tasks.
• 2. Experience with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, along with familiarity with architectures like Recurrent Neural Networks, Transformer models, or GPT-based models, is essential.
• 3. A strong understanding of concepts such as precision, recall, perplexity, BLEU, Rouge, LSA, METEOR, and TER is required.
• 4. The candidate should be able to evaluate the quality of generated text and make necessary model adjustments.
• 5. The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely is important.
• 6. Significant experience in natural language processing, deep learning, and text-generation models is preferred.
• 7. Strong Python programming skills are necessary.
• 8. Extensive expertise in natural language processing and deep learning is expected.
• 9. Knowledge of diverse machine learning architectures and frameworks is required.
• 10. Proficiency in using libraries such as NLTK, SpaCy, PyTorch, and TensorFlow is essential.
• 11. A strong understanding of model evaluation and validation techniques is important.
• 12. Experience working with AI models is highly preferred.
