Staff Software Engineer (Mobile App Development)

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design solutions for specific components/modules of a product, considering trade-offs based on business requirements.

• Select appropriate frameworks and platforms for software coding/configuration, guiding the team on coding patterns and languages.
• Enhance tools for continuous build, automated testing, and release management, ensuring production-like environments for integrated products.
• Create scripts for automation of repetitive tasks in CI/CD, testing, and other processes, conducting code reviews and ensuring code security.

Qualifications Required:

• 10+ years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable applications, platform development, and release automation.
• Strong expertise in mobile apps, DevOps, scalability, design patterns, disaster recovery, and coding standards.
• Proficiency in frameworks like Cocoa, Android application framework, React Native/Expo, and platforms such as Apple iOS, Android, and Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of Quality, Safety, and Security standards, CI/CD processes, code management tools, and SDLC.
• Experience in integrating analytics, automating build/test/deployment processes, and troubleshooting release-related issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, and Perl.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, REST APIs, Azure cloud architecture, cloud technology, logging, and monitoring systems like Splunk, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
