Our Client is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in industrial environments (NOT COMMERCIAL OR RESIDENTIAL).
This is a hands-on role working with high-voltage equipment, control systems, and production machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter with experience in industrial settings and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including power distribution, control systems, and lighting
- Measure, cut, and install conduit (EMT, rigid, etc.), wiring, and fixtures
- Connect and troubleshoot power to industrial machinery and equipment
- Install and maintain control panels, motors, and related components
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder logic
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in high-demand environments
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and safety regulations
- Adhere to strict safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in manufacturing, plant, or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, motors, and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic
- Experience working with PLC systems (troubleshooting preferred)
- Solid understanding of NEC codes and industrial safety practices
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in industrial environments
- Willingness to travel for project-based work
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $35/hour
- $125 per diem for out-of-town projects
- Comprehensive medical benefits (95% employer-paid for employee coverage)
