Web Frontend Engineer Internship

Responsibilities of the Intern:

• Build and ship pixel-perfect, responsive pages for product listings, user profiles, checkout, and order tracking.
• Implement dynamic routing and nested layouts using Next.js App Router.
• Write reusable, responsive UI components using Tailwind CSS.
• Integrate the web application with backend REST APIs for features such as login, product search, and transactions.
• Implement robust form handling and validation using React Hook Form and Zod.
• Optimize web performance through image optimization, code splitting, and Core Web Vitals best practices.
• Contribute to SEO by implementing server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) where required.
• Write clean, maintainable code and documentation.
• Collaborate with the Lead Engineer to build a production-grade web application.
• Contribute to a React Native companion app (preferred).

Requirements

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of React.js with at least one completed project.
• Good knowledge of CSS, including Flexbox, Grid, responsive layouts, and UI styling.
• Familiarity with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, async/await, components, and props.
• Understanding of REST API integration using Fetch or Axios.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently in a remote and flexible setup.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or another utility-first CSS framework.
• Exposure to Next.js through personal, academic, or freelance projects.
• GitHub profile showcasing frontend or web development projects is preferred.
• Basic understanding of web deployment platforms such as Vercel or Netlify.
• Strong attention to UI/UX details and visual design.
