It is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished BD Director to accelerate market expansion and strengthen the company’s presence within the commercial and industrial energy sector. This role is ideal for a strategic sales professional who thrives on creating opportunities, navigating complex sales cycles, and building long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities, developing executive-level partnerships, and guiding prospective clients through a consultative sales process.

Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute territory and account growth plans aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities within target industries and market segments.
- Expand relationships with existing clients while uncovering additional service and solution opportunities.
Strategic Client Engagement
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders across all organizational levels, including executive leadership, operational teams, and technical decision-makers.
- Lead consultative discussions to understand customer challenges, operational priorities, and energy management objectives.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Solution Development & Sales Execution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to design compelling customer proposals and business cases.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and manage opportunities from initial outreach through contract execution.
- Contribute market intelligence and customer feedback to support the development of future products and services.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in new business acquisition, enterprise sales, or strategic account development.
- Demonstrated success selling energy management, energy technology, or related technical solutions to large commercial and industrial organizations.
- Hands-on experience with DR and DER programs.
- Proven ability to manage long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of energy market dynamics, sustainability initiatives, and decarbonization strategies.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate technical and business requirements, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Educational background in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
