Job Title: LPN (HIV/AIDS)

Location: Cheverly, MD 20785

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible; occasional evenings/weekends)

Pay: $45/hr

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and community-driven Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support HIV and STI prevention efforts in both clinical and outreach settings. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact through education, testing, and community engagement across diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HIV and Syphilis testing using phlebotomy, rapid testing, and urine-based methods in both clinical and community settings
• Provide pre- and post-test counseling for HIV/STI screening
• Deliver education on HIV, STIs, and AIDS to individuals and community groups
• Conduct outreach activities including health fairs, screenings, and community events
• Distribute educational materials and prevention resources, including condoms
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and test results (EPIC, Cognito) within 24 hours
• Ensure all collected data and materials are handled confidentially and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Conduct client interviews and counseling using culturally sensitive communication
• Collaborate with internal teams to support public health initiatives

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the State of Maryland (required)
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with phlebotomy and/or community health outreach preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in both clinical and non-clinical environments
• Valid Maryland driver’s license required

Pay: $45.00 per hour
