Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer AV and Unified Communications role based in Bengaluru. The role involves engaging with customers and channel partners to understand technical and business requirements, propose suitable AV and Unified Communications solutions, and support the full sales cycle from pre-sales to post-sales. Day-to-day tasks include conducting product demonstrations, preparing solution designs and proposals, responding to RFPs/RFQs, and coordinating proof-of-concept deployments. The Technical Sales Engineer will provide technical support and training to customers and partners, troubleshoot solution-related issues, and work closely with internal sales, product, and support teams. The role also includes staying current on VoIP, UC, cloud telephony, and AV technologies, as well as contributing to documentation, presentations, and market feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong technical sales and sales engineering skills, with experience of 2-8 years in translating customer requirements into practical AV and Unified Communications solutions.
- Proficiency in technical support activities, including troubleshooting, implementation assistance, and post-sales customer care for VoIP, UC, and AV products.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in sales or business development in telecom, VoIP, UC, or AV domains, preferably in a channel or distribution-driven environment.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site with customers in Bengaluru and across Karnataka region a manage multiple projects and timelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
