We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapist to join our dynamic team remotely across Canada. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and intake evaluations to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver EMDR therapy sessions effectively, guiding clients through trauma processing and emotional regulation techniques.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, and behavioral therapy as appropriate to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, crisis intervention, and behavioral management strategies.

Requirements

• Licensed mental health professional with credentials in psychotherapy, social work, psychology, or counseling recognized across Canada.
• Proven experience delivering EMDR therapy in a clinical or outpatient setting, with familiarity in telehealth platforms.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-focused therapies including PTSD care, crisis management, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics or pediatrics is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Proficiency in behavioral health assessments, patient care planning, group therapy facilitation, and applied behavior analysis is advantageous.
• Comfortable working independently within a remote setting while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and professionalism.
