In this role, you will supervise warehouse employees and oversee the daily operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting and monitoring the unloading of consignments
- Checking and inspecting consignment invoices and documents
- Assigning data entry tasks to juniors and new joiners
- Ensuring proper use of ERP systems
- Receiving materials from line haul or delivery trucks and ensuring correct receipt
- Scheduling urgent consignments on priority
- Receiving, processing, and organizing consignments and deliveries
- Inspecting goods to be delivered to ensure the right quantity and quality
- Supervising the loading of goods into vehicles for delivery
- Communicating with drivers for faster delivery
- Identifying process bottlenecks and suggesting solutions
- Reporting any missing or damaged shipments
- Keeping a record of all consignments
- Coordinating with the Sales and Marketing team to provide excellent customer support
- Setting up layout and ensuring efficient space utilization
- Maintaining the warehouse area neat, clean, and sanitized
Additionally, the company offers benefits such as Provident Fund, a yearly bonus, and the job type is full-time, permanent with a salary range of 16,000.00 - 18,000.00 per month. The work location is in person and may include night shifts.
