Job Description
A company is looking for a Technical Author to develop and maintain clear, accurate, and compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and maintain SOPs and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop user-focused processes
Conduct periodic reviews and audits to keep documentation current and effective
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Five years of proven experience in document development, particularly in SOP or process documentation
Technical writing certification or professional certificate in editing is required
Current understanding of federal, AABB, and CLIA standards governing blood industry manufacturing activities is preferred
Experience in the healthcare, blood banking, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
