Billing Reimbursement Specialist

A company is looking for a Temporary, Billing Reimbursement Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

Reconcile medical claims to collect revenue and reduce bad debt

Manage appeals and denials based on payer guidelines and evaluate billing inquiries

Perform data entry, verify insurance eligibility, and investigate denied services

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required; additional education preferred

2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or healthcare

Knowledge of coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and medical billing software

Experience with laboratory insurance billing is preferred
