Lead Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Backend Engineer (Data Platforms).

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical design and architecture of backend solutions and data pipelines

Develop and maintain backend services in Python and Node.js, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance

Guide the team in best practices for testing, observability, security, and performance

Required Qualifications

Solid experience in Python for backend and data processing

Proficiency in Pandas and experience with migrations to Polars

Experience working with Parquet and large data volumes

Experience in AWS, especially Lambda and Batch

Previous experience as a Lead Developer, Tech Lead, or Senior Developer
