Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer - Platform Data.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the design, implementation, and evolution of core platform infrastructure and shared services

Lead mission-critical projects to build and scale foundational platform capabilities

Partner with security and mission stakeholders to define and enforce standards for access, data protection, and system integrity

Required Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience building core product infrastructure and distributed systems

Strong system design skills with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and cost

Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and systems

Familiarity with modern cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes

Experience working on secure systems that handle sensitive data under strong security requirements
