Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor (Fresher) role based in Kochi. The Video Editor will assist in editing and assembling video content for marketing campaigns, social media, student testimonials, and informational content about study-abroad programs. Daily responsibilities include organizing raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, basic color correction, and syncing audio. The role may involve creating simple motion graphics and titles, integrating logos and brand elements, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and messaging. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the marketing and counseling teams to understand content requirements, optimize videos for various platforms, and meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with an understanding of the end-to-end video creation process.
• Basic proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall video quality.
• Ability to create or adapt simple Motion Graphics and Graphics for intros, lower thirds, titles, and social media content.
• Familiarity with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar tools).
• Strong attention to detail, sense of timing and pacing, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant coursework, certification, or portfolio demonstrating video projects; prior internship or project experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Genuine interest in education, student storytelling, and creating content that supports learners’ aspirations.
