Pay Range Base Salary: $80,000.00- $101,000.00 (commensurate with experience) This is a contract position ending on September 7, 2027. The Project Manager, Integrated Client and Community Care (IC&CC) reporting to the Senior Project and Clinical Transformation Manager, IC&CC, is responsible for the planning, implementation, and delivery of projects that support VHA’s strategic and operational priorities. The role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while following VHA’s project management standards and governance processes. The Project Manager applies best practices to drive successful outcomes and engages stakeholders through a co-design approach to ensure projects meet the needs of clients, families, staff, and partners. Focusing on adoption of project management tools and processes that drive sustainability and quality care delivery, the Project Manager will assess potential risks and proactively mitigate project constraints. This role will develop and maintain a collaborative approach to keep partners and stakeholders informed of project status and risks, ensuring that mitigation and change management strategies are established with stakeholders, both internal and external to VHA. #LI-PI1 Key Areas of Accountability: Manages the end-to-end cycle of assigned projects, from initiation to completion including: project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules. Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, maintaining high standards of quality. Develops and maintains project charters, workplans, and schedules. Ensures alignment with organizational priorities and compliance with VHA’s project gating process. Manages dependencies and resources to ensure project deliverables are achieved. Develop and maintain sustainable processes for project status updates, risk reporting, and mitigation strategies Identifies risks, constraints and issues that may impact project delivery, and develops mitigation strategies accordingly (including escalations as appropriate). Supports change management activities, including training, communication and evaluation to promote adoption of new tools and processes. Facilitates collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, ensuring input from clients, families, and staff informs project design and delivery. Builds effective working relationships across departments and with external partners. Coordinates activities of project team members, subject matter experts and vendors, including set up and oversight of project steering committees. Effectively manage a dynamic portfolio of projects with competing priorities and timelines, making continuous, informed decisions on what to rebalance and reprioritize. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (including project management, health administration, business, information systems) from a recognized university, or combination of diploma in a related field and relevant project management work experience, required. A minimum of three to five years’ experience in leading projects, preferably in health-related sector, required. Experience establishing and delivering projects within a large system and/or organization required. PMI, PMP or equivalent certification, preferred. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, equivalent) preferred. Agile, Scrum Master certification Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt PROSCI Change Management Practitioner, Certified preferred. Experience in home and community health an asset.
