💸 Competitive Salary in USD | 🌍 100% Remote | 🤝 HR Operations & Employee Experience | 🏦 Fintech & Cryptocurrency Industry
Veta Virtual is hiring an HR Specialist for one of our high-growth clients in the Fintech and Cryptocurrency industry. This is a collaborative, detail-driven HR role built for someone who thrives supporting the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding through offboarding — while keeping HR systems running smoothly, data accurate, and employees well-supported at every stage. If you are an organized, people-first HR professional who enjoys balancing operational excellence with genuine employee care inside a fast-paced, high-growth environment — this role was made for you.
🔑 Your Role:
As an HR Specialist, you will serve as a primary point of contact for employees across the organization — supporting HR operations, administering Paylocity, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, ensuring compliance, and preparing executive-ready reporting for senior leadership. You will partner closely with managers and leaders across the business to ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and always employee-focused. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and general employment questions — providing first-level employee relations support and escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Coordinating all aspects of the onboarding process — new hire paperwork, system setup, orientation scheduling, and first-day logistics — ensuring every new employee starts with a positive, seamless experience.
- Facilitating engaging new hire orientation sessions and coordinating employee separations — including offboarding workflows, exit interviews, system access removal, and final documentation.
- Serving as the primary administrator for Paylocity — configuring employee records, security permissions, workflows, and organizational changes, and troubleshooting system issues for employees and managers.
- Identifying opportunities to improve HR system processes and efficiencies — partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical HRIS issues proactively.
- Creating recurring and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards — analyzing workforce data including headcount, turnover, hiring metrics, and organizational trends to support data-driven decision-making.
- Preparing executive-ready presentations and PowerPoint decks for senior leadership and Executive Leadership Team meetings — ensuring data integrity and clear, compelling communication of HR insights.
- Maintaining employee personnel files and HR documentation — supporting compliance with U.S. employment laws, assisting with audits, and supporting government reporting requirements including EEO-1, labor surveys, and census reporting.
- Assisting managers with employee documentation, coaching conversations, and policy interpretation — fostering a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture at every touchpoint.
✅ What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience — with hands-on exposure to HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and HRIS administration.
- Experience administering an HRIS platform — Paylocity experience is strongly preferred and will be a significant advantage.
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance — including multi-state workforce experience is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills — able to build clean reports, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations independently.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills — you interact with employees, managers, and senior leadership with equal clarity and professionalism.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail — you manage multiple priorities simultaneously without losing accuracy or momentum.
- Strong problem-solving instincts and a collaborative, customer-service-oriented mindset — you approach every HR interaction with empathy, sound judgment, and discretion.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations at all times.
- Bonus: HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.
- Bonus: experience creating executive-level presentations and workforce analytics.
- Bonus: background in technology, fintech, or high-growth organizations.
- Bonus: basic knowledge of cryptocurrency or blockchain — genuine interest in fintech is a plus.
- To be considered for this role, you must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.
💼 What We Offer:
- 💸 Competitive salary in USD — paid consistently every month, no matter where you are.
- 📈 Performance-based incentives — your results are recognized and rewarded directly.
- 🌴 10 paid vacation days per year plus all U.S. federal holidays.
- 💻 100% remote — work from anywhere in LATAM or Europe with a professional home setup.
- 🚀 A fast-paced, high-growth environment at the forefront of global fintech and cryptocurrency — where your HR work directly shapes the employee experience across a global organization.
- 🤝 A collaborative, supportive culture through Veta Virtual and our client — where your people skills, attention to detail, and operational excellence are genuinely valued from day one.
