As a Technical Writer at our organization, you will play a critical role in creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation to effectively communicate complex information to our audience. - *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including user manuals, API documentation, release notes, and other product-related materials.
- Build and maintain a prompt pattern library for recurring doc tasks and evaluation checklists to ensure consistency.
- Partner with product/engineering to design doc assistants, define guardrails, and lead reviews of content for risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for various audiences.
- Organize and structure content effectively for easy navigation and comprehension.
- Review and edit documentation for grammar, clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve documentation quality.
- Participate in documentation project planning and execution, including prioritizing tasks and tracking progress.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the documentation team.

- Familiarity with standard documentation styles and guidelines like Microsoft Style Guide, Chicago Manual of Style.
- Ability to use MS Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Jira task tracking tools.
- Working knowledge of prompt design for documentation tasks and evaluating AI outputs.
- Proficiency in technical writing tools such as MS Word, Adobe FrameMaker, etc.
- Strong understanding of documentation best practices and information architecture.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in working in an agile development environment and familiarity with agile documentation practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
